First-class graduate of both the University of Cambridge (BA French and Spanish) and the University of Brighton (BA Fine Art Painting). I have worked in secondary schools in the UK between 2017-18 and 2023-2024 (2 years 9 months total). Private tutor since 2023, taking on 4 students so far to help them pass and excel at their GCSEs.

My biggest achievements to date were working with a student to climb 2 and 3 grades respectively in their English GCSEs to pass them, which was a massive success for them, and for one student to gain 8s in both English GCSEs, a fantastic achievement we had not anticipated.

I am currently teaching online with a brilliant student for whom I have really high hopes.

I work with whoever, whatever your current grade, and I always aim to listen and understand who you are and what works well for you. Perhaps you`re creative and into drawing; perhaps you are more analytical; perhaps you want to cover the basics. I always ensure my teaching is bespoke - I pay attention to what works and what does not.

At a fundamental level, any student of mine will tell you I am reliable, engaging, caring, fun, honest, and, equally, challenging and encouraging. I also offer a reasonable rate compared to other tutors in the area.
