Hi! I have just finished a BA in English and Comparative Literary Studies at the University of Warwick and am due to start my MA at the University of Cambridge in October 2020. I have tutored secondary school students of all levels for around 5 years.

Experience: For my work experience in Year 10, I went back to my primary school to help teach in Reception.

In my first year of sixth form, I was selected to help struggling GCSE students achieve their target grades.

In my first and third years at university, I took part in the Transformations scheme which sent undergraduates out to secondary schools around Coventry to run after-school sessions. The students were selected for the scheme based on their ability in English, either they were struggling or excelling. It was our responsibility to both encourage and challenge these students, leading a year of sessions focussed on the study of dystopian fiction. Although these students were from a number of year-groups, many of them were either GCSE or A-Level students.
