Information about Ross
I am a highly experienced private tutor with over six years of teaching experience. I received a First Class Honours degree in Cardiovascular Sciences from Imperial College London, and am due to graduate as a doctor in 4 months time.
I completed my A Levels at Tiffin Boy`s School and achieved 3A*grades in Maths, Chemistry and Biology, and I am in an excellent position to help students who are struggling at school, but also help top students push their grade from an A to those elusive A* grades. I have learned the common places where students lose marks and know the importance of not only fully understanding the topic areas, but also understanding the mark schemes themselves.
This year I have been selected to assess candidates at interview for admission to Imperial College School of Medicine, so I am well placed to advise students on medical interview and BMAT preparation.
My tuition would be centered around bumping the student up to their desired grade, but also to help increase the students confidence in their subject area. I have lots of resources for students to work from, and would be able to provide and mark extra work if desired.
I also have experience helping students to pass the 11+ exam. Having been through the process myself when I was 11, I understand the vital importance of practice and preparation for the tests, despite what the schools will tell you!
