Primarily a Early Years and KS1 teacher, with experience of teaching PPA in all year groups

I am currently a SENCo at St Dunstan’s College.

My approach to teaching centres on the needs of the children, identifying barriers and learning styles to help children achieve. Building positive relationships is vital for children to feel safe and ready to learn. My teaching style involves retention and remembering activities, active learning to aid recall and well engaged lessons that generate a mistake making culture to build resilience and confidence.

I am well prepared and resourced, with a range of learning strategies, and will work in partnership with parents to achieve the best outcomes for children.
