I teach the Edexcel Politics A-Level course, covering British and American comparative politics.

I do one-to-one tuition in a tutorial format, similar to what you may encounter at university. I teach by taking you sequentially through the exam board`s published specification. That way, I cover the whole course, without deviating from the clear requirements of the exam board. I will encourage you to find examples from the news and from your reading to illustrate your answers.

In terms of qualifications, I graduated with a Master`s degree in Politics and International Relations (specialising in Political Theory) from Durham University. I also have a first class degree in Politics from the same institution.

At A-Level I have an A* in Politics, an A* in History and an A in English Literature. I`m currently working as the managing editor of an academic journal.

So I`ve written a lot of essays; I`ve produced two dissertations using quantitative methods to analyse British electoral politics. My particular areas of expertise are British and American history and politics, but I am happy to help with other essay based subjects and topics. I`ve written for a living and I`ve also had a lot of experience working on political campaigns.

I think I`m a good option for somebody at A-Level who wants guidance from a tutor who knows how to write well, who can strengthen their knowledge through intellectual debate, and who has expertise on the subject. If you want to cram content for an exam, then I am an excellent resource.

I currently work freelance as the Managing Editor of this Cambridge University Press publication. Utilitas is a leading international journal in ethics, focusing on utilitarian thought.

I was an election agent and campaign manager at the 2017 general election and have worked on campaigns across the country. I was elected Co-Chair of Durham University Labour Club in my second year.

I love football, I play a lot of music, been in a few bands, and I like quizzes (I`ve even been a contestant on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire).
