Information about Jason
Hi, I am Jason
Currently, I am a fourth year Veterinary Medicine student, studying at the University of Surrey.
I have always had a passion not only for treating and helping animals, but also broadly in the scientific field. My interests are primarily focussed on the subjects of Biology and Chemistry, which I have enjoyed teaching for a number of years. This has allowed me to share my passion and knowledge with my students and help them achieve their personal development goals.
Having a Biology and Chemistry tutor myself, in year 11 and during my A Levels, I understand the importance of a successful tutor/student relationship to achieve both a relaxed and productive environment. I have seen first hand the impact a good tutor can have, not only in terms of improving students` grades, but also in developing confidence in approaching and answering exam questions.
I have many years of teaching experience and have developed the ability to tailor my teaching content and style to suit the individual student`s ability, knowledge and specific requirements. I deliver a positive and relaxed teaching style which is interactive and tailored to each student, empowering them to reach their full academic potential.
I proactively monitor the progress of all my students to make sure that the level and pace of my teaching is appropriate, and adjusted according to their specific requirements.
In my free time I enjoy watching films, going to the gym and also compete in different racket sports, my two favourite being both tennis and badminton. From personal experience and being a student myself, I recognise the importance of a good work life balance contributing to a healthy lifestyle.
Availability: I am available to tutor most evenings after Uni (post 6pm) and also during weekends.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have experience tutoring both Biology at GCSE and A Level and Chemistry at GCSE level. Also, having recently been through the process of completing GCSE and A levels, I believe my first hand experience is invaluable at not only providing knowledge to my students, but also to providing advice on how to approach exam questions, vital for good exam technique.
DBS Check: Yes

Jason is an Amazing teacher. He understands the student very well and accordingly adapts his way and content of the lessons. He has profound knowledge on the subject, too. So it is very difficult to find a person like Jason ! I am thankful to Tutor Hunt to have met him. D Ghosh
