Ellie

Hello I`m Ellie. I have an Honours degree in French & Spanish, a PGCE Qualification in the same subjects and I am currently a teacher with 8 years experience at a school in North West London. I am able to teach French, Spanish and English for the 11+, GCSEs and A Level/IB qualifications as well as Maths for the 11+ examination.

I have 3 A`s at A-Level in English, French and Economics and A*s in English Literature & Language, French, Spanish and Maths and have taught GCSE and A Level students for 8 years. I enjoy working with my students and seeing them realise and achieve their academic potential, while also taking a new interest in the subject. I have a strong track record in terms of examination results - I achieved 6 Level 9`s last year in my GCSE Spanish class alone.

Outside of tutoring and teaching, I am an examiner for AQA, so I spend a lot of time understanding the (ever changing) syllabus and schemes of work. This gives me a sound knowledge of the curriculum and how to achieve top marks.

I have a very patient tutoring style and appreciate that everybody learns at a different pace and with an individual approach. While my focus is on improving students` academic abilities, I am also very aware of the challenges and pressures involved with homework and exams. I can also help with timetabling, time management and mentoring to help keep students on track and in control of their target grades.

I also offer Online (email/skype) tutoring and bespoke programmes for improving grades.

Availability: After school and at certain times on weekends.

Qualified teacher in French & Spanish, with a BA Hons degree in both.
