I am an experienced Science teacher who currently teaches in a highly successful independent school. I have also taught in schools in the Middle East, Malaysia and the NW of England.
I help students to understand Science not to help them memorise mark schemes. I am an evidence-informed teacher and as such, I use a variety of learning strategies derived from an understanding of cognitive science. Using these strategies allows me to personalise the learning experience for the tutee and helps maximise their learning potential.
I have extensive experience teaching KS3 science, GCSE physics and GCSE/A-level biology. I have taught Cambridge, Edexcel and AQA exam boards, but I am also familiar with other exam boards such as OCR and
