Mathematics Teacher, Head of Year 8 and 9 and DSL. I completed my PGCE in Secondary Mathematics at University of Oxford. Mathematics Graduate specialising in A-level, GCSE and KS3 Mathematics with over 10 years experience tutoring.
I have a patient and calm approach to teaching and focus on explaining mathematical concepts in an understandable manner, prompting students to try for themselves instead of providing immediate solutions.

I have a strong grasp of methods required to learn, exam technique and how best to lay out your work for the examiner. I believe all of my students should aim for the highest grade possible. I will aim to identify and improve on students’ weaknesses before applying the finishing touches closer to the time of the exam.

Maths is a scary subject for many people who cringe at the thought of it. However, with understanding and practice it can open up a range of abilities we would not even know we had! From studying Mathematics my whole life, I understand the importance a good mentor can play in learning. I enjoy tutoring as I am inspired by helping and motivating the students I teach.

Although I do provide some paper materials, I will do work from students’ own textbooks. Some material may be sent via email.

I am currently only available for online lessons.

Availability: Generally weekday evenings and weekends.
