Information about Harry
In 2018, I graduated from Liverpool Hope University with a first-class honours degree in Primary Education with QTS as well as a second degree in maths. I have been a private tutor for the last 12 years. I have had experiences with all primary age groups and have a great bank of resources, contacts and ideas to help provide the best support for your child.
I currently work in an inclusive school in North Liverpool as a Year 6 Teacher. I work with children who have many different learning needs and have become very knowledgeable in adapting learning to the children`s needs. As a year 6 teacher, I have great experience with SATS as well as the full primary school curriculum. I know where the children need to be at the end of KS2 and have strategies to help them get there. I am also the head of maths and PE for the school - I have had a lot of training in these roles which help me offer specialist tutoring for the children that need it.
As a tutor, I have worked with families in Liverpool for over last 12 years; I have supported children with SATS, higher and foundation GCSE`s, Phonics and early learning, entrance exams and more. I have also had experience tutoring children for the Bluecoat School, with 100% of the children I have tutored gaining admission to the school. I am not afraid to take on any challenges and will try everything to ensure your child has the best tutoring opportunities.
As a teacher and tutor I always strive for the best and will do everything I can to provide the children I teach with an outstanding education. I will work with you to support your child and ensure that their education heads in the direction that it needs to.

Experience: I am a Year 6 teacher working in a fully inclusive school in Liverpool. I am the maths, PE and geography lead for the school but also have vast training and experience working with children with needs such as ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia to name a few.
I have 2 degrees. - one in teaching but also one. in maths. I have been a maths specialist for a few years in my current school and have been a foundation and higher GCSE maths tutor for the last 7 years. This last year (2024) I have helped 4 children move up multiple grade boundaries during their mock exams with the hope of success on results day. I have also helped children with entrance exam and SATS prep. My class SATS results this year were the best in our school`s history.
I have been a tutor for the last 12 years in Liverpool and have experience with a vast range of different children. I will always work with you as a parent. and ensure that the sessions are tailored to the needs of the child.
