I am a maths tutor who loves to help students achieve their potential. I have previously worked in schools and college settings but am now a full time private tutor. This gives me the opportunity to teach one-to-one and really help my students get the most out of their learning.

I am a maths graduate having gained my 2:1 in 2013, going on to gain my PCET, studying while working full time at Gloucestershire College. I have been teaching for over 3 years and have worked with year 7s all the way to mature students - ranging from Grade U at GCSE to A*.

Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - anytime of day

I can travel throughout Cheltenham, however if there becomes a high demand, I can also travel to Gloucester.

1-2-1 or small group sessions available.
2 hour sessions available.

First session is a consultation to find out more about your strengths/weaknesses and what you want to gain from the tutoring sessions.

Experience: I have worked in both high school and college environments, teaching students with a range of abilities at GCSE level. I have helped students with very low grades to get to grips with the basics. I have also worked with A/B grade students to go even further. Predominantly my experience is with C/D borderline students who need just a little nudge in the right direction to get that C grade. Of course the scale has now changed to 9-1, but the concept of hitting that "pass mark" is still the same. I have many tips and tricks up my sleeve to overcome the usual pitfalls and mistakes that are made in the exam papers.

I have mainly worked with the Edexcel exam board but the beauty of maths is that it doesn`t change much so I am more than capable with other exam boards if that is what you are studying.
