I am a Phd student at a prestigious UK university specialising in Infectious Diseases. I possess a 1st class honours degree in BSc Biomedical Science (Accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science) and MSc in Public Health and Epidemiology.
I have experience in working clinically for leading NHS trust in providing both advice on infectious diseases management and teaching. I currently for work for Essex University as a lecturer and have honouree posts in other organisations.
I am highly interested in medicine and healthcare science and possess excellent knowledge of biology, human physiology & anatomy and diseases. I have experience in teaching A level, undergraduate and post graduate students from range of biological oriented courses.
I approach teaching by ensuring each session I ensure tutees learn topics taught thoroughly without any hesitation. I have experience in preparing teaching material against national teaching framework and have done this for undergraduate and post graduate levels.
I have experience in various forms including groups teaching, lecturing to large audiences, one to one, and using range of teaching aids including power points to quizzes and group discussions. I have experience in developing students and qualified staff on their development programmes and other academic courses including helping with researches, providing assistance in learning, developing thesis ideas, undertaking practical researches, and dealing with writing ethics related issues and understanding the research framework. I therefore can demonstrate the following skills:
