I am a PhD Linguistics student, currently managing my time between my studies and a business. I have been working as a private tutor for the last five years and am hoping to be able to continue this with the hopes of ending up in teaching.

I believe strongly that students do well in subjects that they are interested in or that they can engage with and always try to make lessons as engaging and understandable as possible.

I am a friendly person with excellent relationships with my students.

Availability: I can be flexible with availability. I am fortunate enough to be able to change around my work timetable to cater to others, however at the moment Saturdays are not possible.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I have taught many people between the ages of five and forty-five and have helped them all excel and surpass targets. I myself have A*`s in both my English Literature and Language exams and am confident in teaching this in a way that brings about great results.

As a Philosophy BA and MRes graduate, I never try to teach things that I myself don`t know much about and so offer more of the written subjects such as English, History, Philosophy, Religious Studies and Psychology. I can put my hands up and admit that the sciences are not my strongest point!
