I am an enthusiastic and capable graduate, with lots of teaching experience and a background in both humanities and sciences.

Experience: I have a degree in History from Cambridge University. Over the course of this I wrote over 70 essays, in addition to a 15,000 word dissertation and other long coursework essays. In 2016 I was awarded the Emmanuel College Owen Senior Scholarship for History.

I had a strong academic background preceding this, achieving 10 A*s at GCSE, 2 A*s and 1 A at A Level. I was also awarded second place in the GDST Somerville and Gurney Award in 2013. This is a national essay competition for recipients of GDST scholarships, given to only 3 students across the 24 GDST schools.

I also have extensive teaching experience. I taught English Language, Literature and Science in Ghana for one academic year to classes of 20+ students between the ages of 11 and 22. This also involved setting and marking termly exams.
