I absolutely love my job as a Math teacher. I have taught for nearly three years and have not looked back. Maths has always been my passion, ever since my tutor helped me, many years ago!

A few things about me:
1) I grew up in Portsmouth with a German Shepard dog (I love dogs, but I don`t have one anymore).
3) I go shopping when I am stressed!
4) I have a Masters in Educational Leadership at Warwick University
5) I have been head of the mathematics department at my previous school in Birmingham
6) I now work as a mathematics teacher in a school in Winchester.

If you spoke to any of my ex-pupils they would tell you that I care, I care a lot, about the education of other people`s children`s, and it becomes apparent when you get to know me.
I will never be impatient, only supportive, and with me... There are no "silly questions".

Availability: Monday’s between 3 and 7pm.
Tuesdays between 5:30pm and 8pm.
Sunday between 10am and midday.

Experience: I have a 2:1 in Mathematics at The University of Birmingham. I have taught Mathematics in two comprehensive schools, one in Birmingham (Ofsted: Outstanding) and previously in Staffordshire. I now teach in an independent school in Winchester.

I am up to date will the curriculum changes that have occurred in the subject and have attended training sessions the best teaching methods for it too (which I have used and still use in school). I have taught GCSE and iGCSE, AS level too.
I am aware of what is required in SATS papers as a result of previous tutoring and also from teaching year 7, who we assess at the start of the academic year with SATS papers.

I have tutored year 7 pupils and year 11 pupils and teach all ages in between. I teach top sets and bottom sets and groups in between.

I have also supported year 6 pupils in developing their maths skills for their SATS.

I am organised and know how to assess what you have learnt and what you have not.
