I am an experienced secondary maths teacher with over 12 years in local High Schools. I have taught across all age ranges in secondaries and help to coordinate the Year 6 pupils during their transition into school by running maths activities across the ability ranges. At GCSE level I have taught all abilities, pushing pupils at Foundation level to gain a Grade 4 and 5, helping students to achieve grade 7’s from middle sets, and also pushing pupils in higher sets to achieve grade 8’s and 9’s.

I have also tutored pupils in year 6, aiming to achieve the best they can on their SATS. I am familiar with the new maths curriculum and I am an official Edexcel exam marker at both KS2 and GCSE level. I have recently started tutoring students in the first year of their Maths A Level to help transition from GCSE.

During this time I have been providing distance learning tutoring sessions over Zoom. This includes providing work, supporting The student while it is attempted, marking and giving detailed feedback during the session. This has proved very beneficial to pupils during social distancing.
