I developed a love for science from a young age and soon discovered that my true passion lies in Chemistry. I strive to share this enthusiasm in every lesson, creating engaging and thought provoking learning experiences that inspire students to exceed their potential. As an experienced and fully qualified teacher, I understand the importance of strong pedagogy and inquiry based learning. I bring deep curriculum knowledge, extensive exam expertise, and proven teaching strategies that consistently make a measurable difference in student performance. Experience: I am an accomplished and dedicated Chemistry teacher with six years of classroom experience across all key stages, having taught at two contrasting London schools, including one of London’s top independent schools. This has given me a broad range of experience working with students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and a PGCE in Chemistry from King’s College London, and I completed my A Levels in Chemistry, Biology, and Business Studies in Wandsworth. Alongside Chemistry, which I teach from Year 7 through to Year 13, I also teach Biology and Physics at KS3 level. I bring over 12 years of private tutoring experience, during which my students have consistently exceeded expectations, with over 90% achieving Grade 9 at GCSE and A* at A Level—even when initially predicted far lower grades. I have successfully supported students in gaining entry to elite universities including Oxbridge, Imperial, UCL, and top medical schools. In addition to subject tuition, I also provide preparation for competitive entrance exams, including the UCAT, as well as interview coaching, helping students build both confidence and exam technique. Based in Wandsworth/Putney, I offer both in-person and online sessions tailored entirely to each student’s individual needs, goals, and ability level. I provide flexible weekly pay as you go options, as well as intensive revision packages during school holidays, and I am always happy to discuss a personalised plan to help every learner reach their full potential.
