I am a CELTA and CEDILS qualified teacher of Italian and English at all levels. I am an Italian native speaker with an academic background in Italian literature and I speak English at a native level. I have 5 years experience teaching as a private tutor online and in person.

I offer costumed-tailored lessons according to your level and goals. I am happy to discuss your needs before you commit to the lessons. My lessons include a good balance of vocabulary, grammar, writing and listening and use different approaches depending on the learners best interest.

Experience: I have been teaching one to one Italian lessons for approximately 5 years, from beginner to advanced level with different purposes. I have had many opportunities to work with students coming from the fashion industry and I am skilled in teaching both business and fashion related vocabulary and useful expressions.

I have taught young learners between the age of 9 and 18. I find it important when working with this age group to implement the use of the book with interactive activities, as well as creating a stimulating environment appropriate to the age and propose of the course.

I have a wide knowledge of the bibliography and the correct material references necessary to teach Italian to students with any L1. I have been praised for my ability to plan clearly and extensively every aspect of the lessons. I self-generate costumed material and adapt the course book independently based on necessity. Being a language student for many years has also given me an acute awareness of the learners’ difficulties to which I am very responsive. I maintain discipline and focus, but also give great value to the creation of a relaxed atmosphere in which students can practice without fear of making mistakes.
