Qualified teacher and tutor for KS3 to A-level, hoping to develop pupils` understanding of maths in a relaxed and friendly environment.

I am a qualified teacher and know the importance of finding the approach that is right for the individual pupil. I have experience working with pupils of all abilities and enjoyed getting the best out of all of them!

Experience: I have a first class masters degree in Maths from the University of Leeds, and achieved A*,A*,A* in Maths, Further Maths and Physics for my A-levels. Since then I have also completed a PGCE for Secondary Mathematics and therefore also a qualified teacher.

I have spent this last year in the classroom, teaching maths to all secondary school years. I also spent time during form and after school mentoring and tutoring pupils on a one-to-one basis, helping to ensure GCSE pupils achieved their desired grades. I am familiar with the barriers that arise for pupils when learning maths, and have developed approaches that can be used to overcome these barriers.
