My name is Kate and I am the Head of Geography at a highly successful state secondary school in Brighton & Hove. I have an absolute passion for teaching Geography and helping my students get to grips with real world issues by understanding the complexities behind them.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography (2:1 with Hons) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (specialism Geography) with masters credits.

Availability: Weekdays Tuesday - Friday only

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have been teaching for five years and have successfully worked in a wide variety of schools with children of all abilities and needs.
I currently work with ages 11-16 and teach to the Edexcel B GCSE Geography specification, although I have taught the AQA specification previously. I have also been a highly successful A level teacher, working with the AQA and Edexcel specifications.
If your child is studying a different specification, please let me know as I am happy to look it up and adjust my teaching, so I am able to support them.
