Hello, I’m Josh, a UK-trained primary school teacher with four years of classroom experience teaching in London. I work with children aged 5–11, supporting them in English and Maths while helping them grow in confidence, independence, and enjoyment of learning.

I believe learning should feel positive, supportive, and encouraging. I aim to create calm, well-structured lessons where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building their understanding step by step. Every child learns differently, so I take time in early sessions to get to know how each pupil works best and adapt my teaching to suit their needs, interests, and pace.

Availability: I currently have flexible and immediate availability, offering online lessons on weekdays and weekends, throughout the day. I’m happy to accommodate different time zones and family schedules, and can offer both regular weekly slots and flexible arrangements to suit your needs. I am unfortunately unable to do in-person tutoring sessions.

Experience: I have four years of classroom teaching experience across a range of London primary schools, working with pupils of mixed abilities, including those with EAL (English as an Additional Language) and SEN needs. I hold a BA in English Literature and a PGCE from University College London (UCL), alongside a 120-hour TEFL qualification, which has further strengthened my understanding of the English language and how children learn it. I also support pupils with Key Stage 2 English and Maths, including SATs preparation, always prioritising understanding and confidence over pressure.
