I am a former mathematics teacher who has a wide range of experience of teaching pupils of different abilities up to A levels. More than ten years of teaching experience has given me the opportunity to brush up my skills of teaching, Identifying the learners needs, through an initial assessment, understanding the barriers of learning and preparing an action plan is the initial step. Understanding the pupils difficulties and simplifying the abstract concepts of mathematics and thus making it more pleasing to the learners. I always ensure that the learner`s interest is maintained by asking the heuristic questions and establish a good rapport with them.

According to me a teacher can act as a facilitator to learning by identifying the pupils strengths and weaknesses and help the pupils to overcome the barriers of learning. A teacher is born not made. An enthusiastic teacher must be able to inculcate the ethos of learning land good study habits in the learner and enrich the pupils learning horizon.

Experience: I am an enthusiastic qualified mathematics teacher, who has more than ten years of experience of teaching pupils of all ages. I have taken the role of supporting each student, whether in the class room or through individual tuition in a professional and caring way. I have a Postgraduate Degree in Mathematics and was the lead Teacher of Maths in a secondary school. I am specialised in offering lessons for secondary schools pupils including A level and AS level, supporting students with SEN, gifted and talented students and adult learners. Being a former teacher I ensure you the highest standards of teaching which I have adopted throughout my career.
