Hello! My name is Gareth and I am a Secondary School Head of Biology with 15 years of experience teaching GCSE Science and A Level Biology. Besides my main job, I am an Exam Board Examiner. In my spare time I also run workshops specialising in bespoke exam preparation.
My teaching style is professional yet relaxed. My demeanour is calm and friendly.
Availability: I tutor on most week day evenings and weekends. I often have availability during school holidays too.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I am an extremely experienced tutor, with lots of revision materials and exam tips at my disposal. I tutor GCSE Science across all exam boards. I also help younger students prepare for Science Entrance Exams.
I enjoy helping students of all backgrounds to prepare for exams, and in doing so I`ve supported pupils of a wide range of ages and abilities. Gareth was great - really got where my son was at and challenged him accordingly. Website quite fiddly to use - and kept sending me messages from others after I had picked Gareth when i had not requested any - but other than this (I assume) technical glitch its worth sticking with. Thanks all

My 16 year old son has really enjoyed his sessions with Gareth. He has he has found his manner and approach works really for him. The tuition is a great help with consolidation of his biology knowledge giving him more confidence to improve his understanding of the A level course. Would fully recommend.

Gareth has been an excellent physics tutor for my year 10 daughter. He has been thorough in his teaching and really helped my daughter`s understanding.
