I am passionate about Maths, Chemistry and Physics, so much so that I pursued and successfully completed a degree in Chemical Engineering. Because of this I have a strong understanding of the subjects I teach, for any exam board required. I aim not only to provide an improvement in grades but also help students to enjoy the subject more, and to take an interest in learning.

I am sorry to hear that you feel this way.
However, it is impossible to provide a service that has not been requested.
As per your request you wanted to "lead" the lessons and determine what content is covered in each session. So how can you expect me to tailor a lesson which was never asked for?
I tailor my lessons based on what the customer requests, so like yourself, if someone wants to come to a session with specific areas they want to discuss/review with me, then I would do just that.
I have never said to my students that they can achieve an A* after just 1 session, especially if they have almost failed in their recent exams. Science in general is a very challenging subject which one cannot excel in after just 1 real session(the first being a consultation). You have to dedicate time into learning and reviewing the subject.
