Hi everyone!
My name is James, and I`m excited to offer my services as a private maths tutor on Tutorhunt! Whether you`re a parent looking to help your child, or a student looking to boost their grade, I can help 🙂;;

🎓;; About Me.

I have over 4 years of tutoring experience, teaching over 50 students.
I can teach, and have taught before: KS2 (SATS), KS3, GCSE and A-Level Maths It’s not uncommon for me to go from teaching a 9-year-old fractions in one lesson, to teaching a 17-year-old calculus in the next. It’s a strange thing to do, but the variety makes it quite fun 🙂;;

All prior students that I’ve taught for at least 2 months have had their grades go up by at least 1. For example, a C going to a B, or a Grade 4 to a Grade 5.

I am very patient, experienced and highly adaptable. My teaching method is not ‘one size fits all’. This approach is antiquated; different people learn things through different methods.
📚;;;Tutoring Services Offered.

I offer 1-on-1 Virtual Lessons on Microsoft Teams or Skype. I use a virtual whiteboard to teach, which has all of the necessary tools for maths.
Lessons last for 50 minutes.
Lessons are £25.00 per session.

I offer Trial Lessons for new students. Trial Lessons are Half-Price (£12.50), and last for the normal duration of 50 minutes.

I am currently in the process of doing a Masters in Philosophy at the University of Exeter, so I can also teach GCSE and A-Level Philosophy/Religious Studies. I have taught 7 students previously in this field, although I understand that it is a niche, and my main students come from maths.
