I have a background in teaching, counselling and nursing, mainly in mental health care. I tutor in Sociology and Psychology at all levels. I am friendly, expert at demystifying complex concepts and excellent at motivating students to attain the best results that they are capable of.

Availability: I am mainly retired and therefore available both daytime and evening. I can be quite flexible bu do not work weekends.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I am a mainly retired experienced tutor, currently working part time teaching counselling. I have taught sociology and psychology in further and higher education at all levels, including teaching students of nursing and midwifery. I have worked in mental health care for many years and have trained many volunteers and staff to enable them to work in the mental health field.
I therefore have experience of working with learners of all ages and levels of ability.
