I am an enthusiastic teacher who believes that given the correct level of support every child is capable of achieving their full potential and more. I have learnt that no two children learn in the same way so often need extra support in some areas of their learning. I have always taught on the principle that children need to understand and be able to apply what they learn rather than just learning facts.

Experience: I have been a secondary school teacher since 1987 teaching Maths and Science at KS3 and KS4. I have had many other roles during my career including Head of Maths and Head of Year. I have also been doing private tuition for Maths and Science at KS3 since 2002.
