Information about Michael
My degree was in Physics and Astronomy and I have a Masters in Nuclear Technology. I have been a reactor physicist (5 years), a Physics teacher (6 years), a software engineer (8 years) and a structural engineer (10 years) so I have really used my Physics.
Availability: I am flexible as I am self employed Chartered Engineer. So weekday evenings and daytime slots are available.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: For the last 10 years I have tutored A level students and occasionally returned to the classroom as I love the subject.
I really enjoy clarifying those aspects of the syllabus that often leave students feeling confused. My teaching style is informal and is designed to reduce stress and fill the student with confidence. Once you understand the principles of Physics - all the other seemingly disconnected elements come together beautifully.
