I am a University of Nottingham graduate in Classical Civilisation and now a History PCGE student at UCL that will be teaching History in secondary schools next year. Since leaving University I have worked with SEN students in a secondary school in Cambridge, focusing on History and English. I have also taught English as a foreign language in Chile and Spain. As a 25 year old, I have not been out of the education system for too long and understand exactly what students need to motivate them. I believe that tutoring should be as fun as possible and I always ensure that my classes leave my students feeling energised and driven to crack on with the work set as well as a love for the subject!
