I’m Wesley [contact detail removed] – a history tutor living in Havering, Essex.

I provide history tuition and exam coaching for KS3, GCSE, AS- and A-level pupils. In addition, I offer tuition to undergraduate students looking to target problem areas and improve their knowledge and understanding of the key skills and processes required.

As a teacher with over ten years’ experience, I firmly believe in building strong relationships with my pupils through individualised learning programmes. As such, I insist upon an initial FREE consultation in which we’ll discuss academic progress, personal aspirations, individual needs, interests and hobbies.

In doing so, we can build a bespoke programme before realising mutually agreed objectives and maximising success.

Experience: Having graduated with Honours from the University of Surrey in 2002, as previously mentioned, I`ve spent over ten years teaching GCSE and A-level history to pupils of all abilities. I have also been a GCSE examiner for both Edexcel and AQA.

In 2008 I graduated from Birkbeck College, University of London with a Master`s degree in the History of Imperialism and Post-Colonial Societies, and am currently writing a PhD proposal on what`s known as the Grey Zone in Holocaust studies.

I am indeed a passionate historian and love to share my knowledge, skills and experience with my pupils.
