As an English tutor, I have a creative, structured and dedicated approach with a loyalty to all my students. I provide clear academic support tailored to their individual learning requirements. Areas of focus include exam techniques, elevating target /predictive grades, increasing confidence levels in English and ensuring academic success in mock exams, teacher assessments / centre assessed grades and external examinations.

Fully conversant in the following exam boards;
GCSE-
AQA, OCR, EDEXCEL/PEARSON, CAMBRIDGE ( IGCSE) , CITY & GUILDS ( Functional Skills).

A- Level English Literature -
Edexcel , AQA and Cambridge

Availability: Week days after school and evenings ( limited).

Experience: I have 15 years` teaching experience in a wide profile of schools in both the state and private sectors, UK and internationally. I am currently working as an English teacher and tutor in an `outstanding` secondary school in Kingston .In addition , I have taught English GCSE and A Level at Premier League training academies since July 2016 including Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Fulham and West Ham.


Online teaching experience:

Online lessons I teach via platforms: ‘Zoom ‘ and ‘Google Meet’ or another platform of the student`s choice. I send all lesson resources in advance so students are familiar with the content and email any additional material covered after each lesson. I also provide regular academic feedback to both students and parents .
To enhance students` progress further, I use the platforms` inbuilt technology in order to make the learning more interactive wherever it is most academically beneficial. Most of the sessions are 1-1.5 hours’ duration as I have found this provides the optimum level of learning
