From a young age, I became aware of the fact that I needed visual, dynamic and engaging methods to study. I struggled academically as a result of teachers presuming that `conventional` learning methods worked for all students. After having the privilege of being taught by a vibrant and interesting teacher, I realised that learning was meant to be interactive, fun and I now try to implement these fundamental elements in my teaching approaches. This inspired me to begin tutoring and helping struggling students reach their full academic potential.

I recently graduated from University College London where I studied Spanish with Management and was awarded 2:1, and the 1st class in one of my Spanish language modules. Before this, in the International Baccalaureate, I gained 38 points with an A in my Theory of Knowledge essay. In the years before this, for my IGCSEs I got 9A`s and 3A*s.

Experience: Having been a tutor for the last five years, in both the UK, Spain and Nigeria, I have come to learn different learning techniques to enable students to excel academically. I specialise in equipping 11+, 13+ and GCSE language students with the tools they need to thrive in not only their exams but the fundamental tools required for learning.
Since the start of my tutoring career, I have tutored 11+, 13+ and GCSE students who all gained excellent results. I was a teacher assistant at Almond School in Nigeria. In 2016, I began tutoring the Almond College’s year 11 students GCSE English Language and Literature to help prep them for their GCSEs. This is a role that I did annually for 3 years. Furthermore, in 2018 I signed up to the tutoring agency Tutorful where I specialised in teaching 11+ and GCSE students Maths and English. During my year abroad in 2019/2020, I mainly focused on teaching Spanish nationals English Langauge, offering both linguistic and practical English lessons.
