Information about Hajar
My philosophy is to make students understand the beauty of mathematics and master it to a high level. This approach not only develops students love for mathematics but also delivers them high grades. It so happens that I get them grade 9 at GCSE and A* at A Level. I have proven time and time again that this approach will deliver at least a 3 grade improvement to your childs grade. For me its about ensuring your child does very well and it happens that my hourly charges are fair and below the market average.
I do face to face tutoring as well as online.
Availability: Depends but normally evenings after 4.30pm. Weekends and school holidays.
Currently Saturday and Sundays are free. Online sessions are available on request. I cover Ascot, Bracknell, Woking, Staines Egham, Windsor, Maidenhead and Slough Area. I travel to Croydon on Sunday so can cover areas on route to Croydon.

Experience: Experienced Head of Mathematics. Teaching GCSE and A Level for over 21 years. My exams group`s always perform above target grades. All my students improve by over 3 grades. I have everyone ready to achieve a grade 9 at GCSE or A* for A Level.

Hajar began tutoring my 14 year old son in September 2019, just as Ewan was starting his GCSE course. To try and select a tutor that would really gel with Ewan, we had test sessions with 3 different tutors. All 3 were well qualified and did a great job of explaining, but my son thought Hajar was outstanding. Since then Hajar has been tutoring Ewan on a weekly basis and during this time his confidence and enjoyment of maths has really increased. I have noticed that Hajar gives really pragmatic advice on how to approach problems, and this has really helped my son. He also challenges him with stretch questions, and if Ewan gets off track, he pulls him back, but focuses on the things he is doing well, so that Ewan`s self belief increases all the time. Ewan told me today that he didn`t mind doing his Maths homework anymore as he was really enjoying it now. This would have been unfathomable a few months ago! Over the same period his results from school have improved - so I am really pleased with the way it`s working out. On the admin side, Hajar is very responsive and flexible if we ever need to change times / days. He is also reliable and has never missed a session. Thank you Hajar :-)
