Information about James
I have been teaching politics for over a year now and am passionate about the subject. I have taken the time to develop tuition plans that cater to the requirements of A-level exams. I have designed these plans for the following topics:
Participation and Voting Behaviour
Pressure Groups and Protest Movements
The British Constitution
The British Parliament
The British Core Executive
Multi-level Governance in the UK
The Electoral Process and Direct Democracy in the U.S.A
Political Parties in the U.S.A
Voting Behaviour in the U.S.A
Pressure Groups in the U.S.A
The Politics of Ethnicity and Gender
The Politics of the Environment
The Politics of Education
The Politics of the Economy
From my experience it takes roughly six hours to go through each topic, so I advise you block book your sessions. For each topic you complete with myself you will be given a revision guide that outlines all the key points, explanations, and examples that will be required in exams.
Availability: My availability varies, however I can arrange regular sessions, which I know are often required. Message me and we can discuss times that are best for you and agree a plan.
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: I am currently studying for my PGCE which has necessitated large amounts of classroom time over the past year. I am experienced in planning and delivering high quality sessions, as well as assessing work. These skills will be utilised to their fullest for your benefit, with sessions structured to cater to your needs.Contact this Tutor
