Information about Clare

I am currently full and not looking for any more students.

I am a very experienced primary school teacher (16 years). I have taught all years from Reception to Year 4 and have been the mathematics co-ordinator, DT co-ordinator and Key Stage One co-ordinator. I pride myself on being able to motivate and inspire children to enjoy learning and produce their best work. Since having my first child 7 years ago, I have taken a sideways move and worked as a nanny and private tutor, and have been working as a childminder for the last 3 years. My setting is normally full but can offer ad hoc childcare/tutoring until September, as many of the parents I work for are furloughed and not requiring childcare at present. I have two daughters, they are 3.5 (nursery) and 7 (year 2). I am currently tutoring them both at home. I have also been tutoring one other child for the last few weeks but she has gone back to school, as she is in Year 1. I intend to keep the "bubble" of children here very small to ensure space for appropriate Social Distancing and currently have room to take on two more children. I have a large garden and patio where I conduct my lessons and the children can play (weather permitting). I have written a comprehensive risk assessment and produced a short video of the procedures I have put in place to prevent the transmission of the virus. If you are interested I can email these to you. You are also very welcome to come around and view my setting and talk about your requirements, I am trying to be as flexible as possible as these are difficult times for all of us. I am ofsted registered and am part of the tax-free childcare scheme.

I can also offer pick up and drop off to your house if that helps.
