I understand maths and make the subject as enjoyable as humanly possible.
I can stretch able students with maths investigations and games.

I tutor from GCSE (and retakes at any age), Advanced, Further Maths, IB and any other vocational maths such as for engineers and pilots - and home-schoolers.
I am an Oxford Maths Graduate and Qualified Teacher
I recently retired from teaching full time (I was teaching advanced maths and all levels of computers) so I am now available almost any time.
I will travel for an additional small cost.
I have studied with Zoltan Dienes (inventor of the Dienes blocks).

My 15-year old daughter has never switched on to maths, but due to sit her GCSE next summer, I thought that some tutoring could help. And indeed it has! Mark has worked magic in engaging, enthusing and inspiring Lyra, so that, after only three weeks, she is considering opting to sit the higher paper rather than the functional maths option.
