Information about Jules
Hi! My name is Jules and I`m a student studying chemistry and maths. I took maths, chemistry, physics and french at A level and I got A*, A, A*, A respectively. I got along really well with my teachers and they made the lessons fun and interesting which really helped me to understand the subject better. I know that not all students have the opportunities I did but I want to try my best to help those that struggle to understand their subjects a bit better so that they can enjoy school just as much as I did.
Availability: I currently have on most afternoons, evenings and weekends. Please get in touch if you are interested and I`m sure we can find a time that works well for both of us!
Willing to travel: 2 miles
Experience: I have had experience in tutoring both maths and chemistry to children from Key-Stage 3 all the way up to A-level. I have taught both in person and online and I have a range of resources at hand to help me with my lessons such as text books, worksheets and specifications for each course. I also know how to talk to young people and make lessons engaging in a way that makes them understand and more than willing to explain any questions they may have.

I am very happy with Jules teaching! Daughter had some math lessons before her GSCE exams. Jules helped her explain the tasks she was having difficulty with and she gained more confidence from these lessons. In addition, I always got extra tasks from each lesson and what was done during the lessons. Thank you very much for your help.

Jules was able to explain concepts clearly in order for my son to understand the work better. He was always well prepared and sent an email with the notes of the work that was covered after each sessions. My son`s grade improved during the time he attended the sessions. Jules is friendly and patient and we would recommend him to anyone.

My daughter is 17 years old and in Year 12 studying Chemistry, Maths and Biology. She was struggling with the step up from GCSE to A level and so I sought a tutor for her. Jules stood out as he is a University student and so his age isn`t too dissimilar to my daughter I felt this would mean that she would feel at ease as he would appreciate first hand the current curriculum and school pressures that she was facing. I love saying that I was right! Jules has really helped my daughter talking to her more like a study buddy but one that can understand and explain the subject areas where she is struggling, he is very knowledgeable! He is reliable and even provides notes from the lesson for her to keep, he is a good communicator, friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money, a fabulous role model!
