I am a Maths tutor. My main focus is on A level Maths and Further Maths, although I do also maintain some openings for GCSE students. I also coach Year 12 and Year 13 students towards MAT and STEP exams for entry to Oxford and Cambridge Universities. I specialise in pure maths, mechanics and probability.

I love Maths. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject with my students. I want to help young people get as much out of the subject as I do.

I have a maths degree from Cambridge University. I achieved top A level and S level (a predecessor to STEP) grades in Maths and Further Maths.

Experience: I provide private Maths tuition to typically 30 students on a weekly basis. These are mostly Year 12 and 13 students whom I tutor in A level Maths and Further Maths, along with a small number of GCSE students. I also occasionally tutor university undergraduates in maths and maths-related subjects such as economics, physics, engineering.

In addition to tutoring privately, I volunteer my time at the local high school where I run a variety of sessions at differing levels for A level students. These include, for example, extra-curricular sessions preparing students for MAT and STEP exams for entry to Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
