Information about Nilisha
I am a Geography Teacher with a decade of experience. I have experience teaching and tutoring Geography at GCSE and A-level, including NEA projects in multiple schools in London and internationally. Most recently, I worked at Queen Elizabeth`s School, one of the highest performing schools in the country.
I studied Geography at Durham University, I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE and completed a Masters in Education, Gender and International Development.
As a tutor I combine my teaching expertise, travel experience and own education to create an individualised learning path. From identifying gaps in students` knowledge and teaching exam technique to meet the student`s individual needs and learning style.

Experience: I am a highly experienced Geography teacher with over a decade of experience working with over 1000 students in their Geography exams across different exam boards. I have an extensive range of educational resources that I use to close knowledge gaps, to build exam skills and confidence which has enabled former students of mine to achieve a grade higher than they were predicted.
As a writer for Geography Education resources and textbooks, I use up to date case studies and content in my teaching.

Nilisha has been so helpful with last minute A level geography tutoring for my daughter. She has focused on exam technique, content and always checks to ensure my daughter has understood. My daughter has ADHD and working memory challenges and Nilisha takes this into account when structuring the session.

Nilisha was patient and provided good structure and notes. My son was engaged and busy for the full hour, even though he is usually distracted and struggles with focus. Nilisha managed to keep him interested and motivated in the lessons. My son felt that the lessons were beneficial and he learnt a lot about the subject and how to approach his notes and revision
