My aim is to help as many children as possible excel academically and realise their potential. I offer a professional service where parents can be reassured their child will be taught key items in a positive and engaging manner, with a focus on enjoyment and, where needed, exam technique.

I am dedicated to building positive relationships with students in order to encourage and engage them with the subject matter so they have the best foundation for their educational journey. I look to empower students and provide them with tools to walk into their exams with confidence and optimism.

Experience: I believe in delivering lessons that centre around the individual personality of the student so they meet all their physical, emotional and cognitive needs.
I have 10 years of experience working in mainstream and alternative education. I am a former head of maths at an Oftsed ‘Outstanding’ secondary academy in the city. I have also previously worked at other secondary academies as a KS3 maths teacher and at alternative education establishments delivering maths to a plethora of students.
