Graduate from OXFORD UNIVERSITY, having gained a 2:1 degree in Classics at Oxford and a Commendation in Law at BPP. Prior to this, I attended Eton College.
I have particular strengths in exam preparation and technique: knowing what to revise and how to do this efficiently. This can be crucial in the run up to an exam period, and my students have often attained final grades above their predicted ones.
I offer tutoring in Latin, Greek, Ancient History and English.

Excellent tutor. My son loved him. He Actually found a way to make Latin interesting and engaging to a 4 year old playing on his interests. Marcus is very professional and a first rate tutor.

Marcus was a great tutor for my 11yr old daughter in Latin. He explained things very clearly, was extremely patient and really helped her to improve. She earned 98% on her most recent exam! I would highly recommend Marcus.

Marcus was great - my 11 year old son was a little anxious about doing Latin out of school but in 2 sessions they got on really well and worked through the issues he had. I will definitely use Marcus again when needed. Charming easy going guy and very calming with my son.

I needed some quick interview help for my son`s 8+ entrance exam. Marcus was available and he was very helpful in helping my son to go over past interests, identify his strength and try to avoid saying "I don`t know" to questions. I enjoyed talking with Marcus and he gave useful feedback for us to work on. Very punctual and polite. Highly recommended.
