Tanisha

Hello! I`m Tanisha, a final year dentistry student. I enjoy dentistry because it combines my passion for science with a hands-on working environment.

Like many students, I`ve done a fair share of exams and would love to help you in your studies! Exams can feel daunting but I`d like to help break everything down for you, bit by bit, so that we can work together to make progress. I offer GCSE tuition for Maths, Biology and Chemistry as well as KS3 tuition.

I was the first year to do the new Maths and English GCSE exams so I know first hand what the nature of these exams are and how we can tackle them together so that you can achieve the grades that you want. My teaching style is highly collaborative. In our initial meeting I would like to find out which topics you are good at and which topics you feel you need help on. Based on this I would then formulate lesson plans tailoring to what you feel needs improving and to what aligns with your learning curriculum so that you can get the most out of each lesson. I appreciate that learning is so much more fun when it feels like a discussion/conversation rather than a lecture so I would always ensure to get your input. I believe the best way to consolidate knowledge is with exam questions so these would be a key element of our lessons.

I look forward to meeting you :)
