Information about Joanna
I have fourteen years teaching experience and five years examining experience.
I teach: Key Stage 3 and 4, GCSE English Language, English Literature, Functional Skills English and English as a Foreign Language.
I like to make English sessions very specific, to the learner, by using their hobbies and interests as part of the lesson plans.
I enjoy singing and drama and I think this enriches my teaching style. Don`t worry I won`t sing in the lessons!
Availability: Monday-Friday time slots available

Experience: I am experienced in teaching: GCSE, Functional Skills and ESOL. I have worked in a local school, college and adult education centre.
I have taught English, successfully, to a wide variety of students of different ages and abilities and I have received excellent observations of my teaching. Overall, I feel it`s really important to have fun when learning new skills. I think we all learn better that way.

Absol.fabulous lady who is really in touch with my daughters needs and is constructively and professionally taking her forward to a re-sit. Cannot speak highly enough and so grateful for all the support, time and patience she offers.

If I could give Joanna 6 stars,I would.We have found her to be friendly,punctual, knowledgeable,dedicated & committed & always providing a service with a smile.It is very important that the rapport between student & tutor is achieved in the initial stages & Joanna has managed this. It takes someone very special to be highly regarded by my son & he has definitely given Joanna the thumbs up & always looks forward to seeing her each week.
