Information about Carol
After successfully tutoring my own child (and help her move from set 3 to set 1), I decided to go into teaching. I completed a PGCE secondary Maths in 2021 and have been teaching in a local secondary school since then.
I hold a first degree in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona, and I completed postgraduate courses in the UK (MSc-University of London, DPhil-University of Oxford).
I have always worked in chemical research until I decided to move into secondary school education after helping my own child and enjoying teaching Maths.
Availability: Available weekdays: afternoons and evenings. I prefer to teach at home in Lewes or online

Experience: I hold a PGCE in secondary maths and I teach Maths to secondary school pupils, from year 7 to year 11. I am up to date with school methods of teaching Mathematics - which has changed significantly over the years, and with the resources that work best for students.

Carol is a brilliant teacher. My 16 year old daughter was a bit nervous of online lessons but she thought Carol, was friendly, helpful and the lessons were never boring. She always looked forward to her lessons, which is amazing! Her maths has come on leaps and bounds and after each lesson Carol would send links for further revision and a recap of how the lesson went. I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone.
