Discover the joy of maths! I am a highly experienced maths teacher, tutor and A-level examiner and passionately believe that everyone can enjoy and succeed in mathematics, whatever their previous experience. As well as 10 years experience teaching in secondary schools, I have home educated my own children so I am able to tutor at all levels up to, and including, A-level.
Availability: Available for face to face or online Zoom lessons.

Experience: Private tutoring since 1993. 10 years experience teaching in secondary schools in Shropshire. Home education of own children at primary, GCSE and A-level. Examiner for A-level mathematics.
I have also run informal maths circles for home educated children to have their own mathematical adventures.

My daughter has recently started lessons with Ginny to help her prepare for GCSE Maths this Summer. She finds Ginny very patient and approachable. Ginny uses a good variety of methods to support her teaching. My daughter is keen to continue learning with Ginny.

Although Ginny has only tutored me for a few weeks in my GCSE maths, she has really facilitated my knowledge and understanding in approaching and solving a range of problems. She is easy to communicate with and replies to any queries promptly.
