With a 2(i) Degree in Mathematics and Psychology and a PGCE, I have spent the last 25 years working as an A level lecturer in Maths, Further Maths, Philosophy, Critical Thinking and Religious Studies, at three different London tutorial colleges, namely: Chelsea Independent College, Collingham, and Wentworth College in NW London. I have also taught GCSE Physics and Chemistry privately. Throughout the whole of that period I have been self-employed as a private tutor and built up a successful business, working from my home in West London. In the 90’s, after completing my post-graduate studies at Keele University, I specialised in Adult Education and was employed at Stoke-on-Trent College in Staffordshire, where I created a “Return to Learn” course in Mathematics for adults who had been out of education for more than 5 years.

Availability: I`m now working from home and can presently accommodate up to 10 hours a week of new tuition.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have worked as an examiner in Maths and Psychology for Pearson (Edexcel) and AQA. I was also Head of Maths and Head of Psychology at Wentworth College, in North West London. For the last 15 years - before the government destroyed the examination system on 18th March 2020 - I worked as a tutor doing up to 20 hours per week in all the subjects mentioned above.
