Hi! I am a theoretical physics PhD student at the University of Nottingham and an experienced tutor (multiple references available) with a detailed knowledge of the A Level AQA and Edexcel mathematics and physics syllabuses. I have a track record of improving the grades of students with varying levels of previous attainment, focusing on developing problem solving skills by understanding the physical and mathematical principles behind examination questions.

I have had a lifelong passion for physics and mathematics and gain great pleasure from helping others understand the physical sciences. I am enthusiastic, thorough, easy-going, and use physics and mathematics every day in my research. I also hold first class honours at master’s level in theoretical physics from Durham University and achieved 10 A*’s at GCSE and 3 A*’s at A Level in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

I am fully DBS checked and available most weekday evenings and weekends. I am able to tutor either from my flat in Beeston Rylands or from your home if it is within cycle range. I look forward to hearing from you to organise our first session!
