Information about Elisabeth
I am an experienced English teacher from the Midlands. I have QTS and first-class BA Hons degree in English Literature. I have previously been an examiner for AQA English Paper 1. I currently teach English part-time (since becoming a mum) in a large secondary school and can offer online tuition in KS3 and KS4 English.
Availability: Thursday-Sunday afternoon/evenings.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have been Subject Leader for English and have been Leader of Learning for KS3 (current role) and KS4, leading my department in implementing the new curriculum for the current GCSE specifications. I have particular experience of AQA and in depth knowledge of several GCSE texts including: `An Inspector Calls`; `Macbeth`, `A Christmas Carol` and `Poetry: Power and Conflict`. I also have been a successful and accurate examiner for AQA GCSE English Language paper 1. I have taught Secondary English for 15 years and have informally tutored several young people. I am now building my own tutoring service.
