Hi there! I am a student at Oxford University studying Spanish and Linguistics. I am polite and punctual, and am in a position commute to most areas of London with ease.

I would be an ideal candidate for children looking to revise over the Summer before returning to school in the Autumn, or for children preparing for entrance examinations. Having attended schools in both the private and state sectors, I have an understanding of both systems and will be able to "fill in the gaps", especially those in the state school curriculum.

I would describe my approach to tutoring as upbeat, engaging, and professional. I encourage children to think for themselves instead of just giving them the answers, but most of all I like to ensure that they are having fun, because I believe we all learn best when we are enjoying ourselves.

I believe in frequent and detailed feedback, both to the child themselves and to parents, and in setting high expectations for children.

Availability: I am available all day, all week for most of the summer holidays and September to offer catch-up sessions before the Autumn Term or tutoring for entrance examinations. Subsequently, I will be available during my long university vacations.

Experience: I have one year of tutoring experience with primary school aged children for whom English was their second language. I helped French twins (aged 10) make significant progress in their written English.

I have also provided more general homework help for children between the ages of 7 and 13 and have worked with GCSE Spanish and AS level English students as a mentor to offer exam tips and advice.
