Marianne

My name is Marianne and I am a French native. I have been teaching both French and English for the last twenty-five years in France, USA and London UK. I love my job, and although I have been teaching in secondary and primary schools, today I teach online only to one to one adults of all ages and small group students. I will teach from years 10/11 and onwards for children. I enjoy my work very much and I have a great and fun relationship with my students. Learning a new language is not easy and I insist in making the lesson fun and relaxed, whilst serious. I include a lot of conversation and I usually start teaching conjugation (verbs and their tenses), in the first two to three months, depending on the progress (each student is different and each student learns and understands differently, in their own ways), which is fascinating to me; it means that I also learn a great deal from my students. It is a very positive way to exchange and share. No way around it and so grammar takes a big part of the lesson. Vocabulary comes naturally with the conversation and with FLASHCARDS. Everybody loooves FLASHCARDS :-)
Homework can be provided of course !

Availability: I am available five days a week and I can work late if necessary. I work from home or online only . My fee is £30/hr.
